❓ Buying Guide & Tips: Choosing the Right Picture Rail

Choosing the Right Discreet Picture Hanging System (Wires & Cables)

Are you looking for an **invisible** or **sleek** hanging solution? The rail system with wires (perlon or steel) is the preferred choice of art galleries and discerning individuals. Say goodbye to unsightly rigid rods: embrace the lightness with our ranges. Artiteq I'm sorry, but "et" does not have a specific meaning on its own in French. It is a conjunction that means "and" when used to connect words or sentences. If you provide more context or text, I would be happy to help with the translation. Newly.

What is the most discreet rail on the market ?

Two models stand out for their absolute discretion:

? ? The smallest in the world: The Newly I'm sorry, but "R10" doesn't have a specific meaning in French. Could you please provide more context or clarify the phrase you need help with?. Stuck right against the ceiling, it is tiny and disappears completely.
? ? The most versatile: The Click Rail Artiteq (Primer). Once painted the same color as your wall, it becomes almost invisible.

Transparent Nylon thread or Steel Cable: Which one to choose ?

The Perlon thread (Nylon 2mm): It's the number one choice for discretion. Translucent, it blends into a white wall. Capacity: up to 20kg.
The Steel Cable: More visible, it gives an "industrial" or very chic modern look. It is also more robust (often up to 20kg, but provides psychological reassurance for large frames).

Which hook should be used for easy adjustment ?

Forget about the hard-to-adjust screw hooks! For a discreet system, prioritize the Self-locking hooks (Micro Grip or Palmetti type):

Simply press on the top of the hook to slide it along the wire. Release it, and it will lock in place. It's like magic for aligning multiple frames perfectly.

How does the wire hang on the rail ?

There are two types of tips (at the top of the wire):

The Twister (or Cobra) tip: The most convenient! You insert it anywhere on the rail, turn it a quarter turn, and it's fixed. No need to slide it in from the side.
The Solid (or Hexagonal) tip: More economical, but it needs to be threaded through the end of the rail.

Can we put multiple paintings on the same wire ?

Yes, absolutely! That's the advantage of vertical threads.

You can thread 2, 3, or 4 hooks on a single nylon thread and hang your frames one below the other (in a column style), as long as the total weight does not exceed the maximum capacity of the thread (usually 20kg).

Do Artiteq wires fit onto the rails? Newly (and vice versa) ?

Yes, the majority of modern systems use a rail standard (2mm opening). The "Twister" wires from Artiteq are compatible with the rails. Newly R10, R20, and R30, and vice versa.
