GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
EFFECTIVE AS OF OCTOBER 9, 2026 – METROPOLITAN FRANCE, CORSICA AND EUROPE
Any order placed with Les Ateliers du Peintre (Cimaise-Tableau.fr) implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, from which no derogation may be made under any circumstances, unless expressly agreed in writing.
1. ORDERS
Orders are accepted:
- By mail on plain paper or on a pre-established order form by Les Ateliers du Peintre.
- By phone via quote.
- By internet on our website www.cimaise-tableau.fr.
2. PAYMENT OF ORDERS
Orders are payable in full at the time of purchase:
- By bank check, postal check, money order, or credit card for written orders.
- By credit card or secure electronic payment method for orders placed online.
3. PRICES AND QUANTITATIVE DISCOUNTS
All our prices are indicated TTC (All Taxes Included) at the date of publication. These prices remain valid until the publication of the next catalog or website update.
Quantitative discount scale per order tier:
- 10% discount from €100 TTC of purchase.
- Additional 10% from €200 TTC of purchase.
- Additional 10% from €500 TTC of purchase.
These quantitative discounts apply automatically in the cart, excluding current promotions, and cannot be combined with any other promotional code or derogatory pricing condition. Any invoice not paid by the due date will result in the cancellation of any discounts granted.
4. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING COSTS
FREE SHIPPING FROM €99 TTC OF PURCHASE (Metropolitan France).
For orders under €99 TTC in Metropolitan France:
- DPD TRANSPORT (Products > 50 cm): €12.00 TTC
- DPD TRANSPORT (Accessories < 50 cm): €6.98 TTC
Note: For Belgium and the rest of Europe, the applicable delivery rates are calculated dynamically in the cart during the order process. For any order under €35 TTC, a packaging fee of €6 TTC will be required.
5. SHIPPING AND RECEPTION
Goods travel at the SELLER'S risk until delivery (for consumer clients, the transfer of risk takes place when they take physical possession of the goods). It is the buyer's responsibility to make precise reservations upon receipt if the package is damaged. Recommended procedure: Mention the defects noted (crushed, opened, pierced package, etc.) on the carrier's delivery note. The mention "subject to unpacking" has no legal value.
For professional clients (B2B), damages must be confirmed to the carrier by registered letter within 3 days (Art. L. 133-3 of the French Commercial Code). For consumers, no forfeiture of warranty can be opposed in case of non-compliance with this formality, but prompt reporting is strongly recommended.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
In accordance with European regulations, the consumer client has a period of 14 days from the receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal.
A. Return conditions
Products must be returned intact, complete, and in their original packaging. Items that are damaged, soiled, incomplete, or have been used will not be taken back.
B. Return costs and Methods
Return costs are exclusively the responsibility of the client. The client has the choice between:
- Return by your own means: To the address: LES ATELIERS DU PEINTRE, 30 RUE DE LA SERRE, 34320 ROUJAN, FRANCE.
- Collection by our carrier: Service billed at €35 HT per package (or €42 TTC) deducted from the refund.
C. Exceptions (Products not taken back)
- Items made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (custom-cut rails, specific kits and lengths of 1.50 m, 1.00 m, and 0.50 m).
- Special case for ORAC DECOR: Since these products are shipped from the factory with specific packaging, returns organized by us will be billed at actual cost (€35 HT for logistics and return management fees per package).
7. LEGAL GUARANTEES
All products supplied by the seller benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and the guarantee against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event of non-conformity, the client may choose between repair or replacement of the good, subject to the cost conditions provided for in Article L. 217-12 of the French Consumer Code.
8. ECO-CONTRIBUTION (EPR)
In application of Article L. 541-10-13 of the French Environmental Code, Les Ateliers du Peintre are registered in the national register of marketers under the following Unique Identifiers (IDU), certifying our compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR):

9. RETENTION OF TITLE CLAUSE
The goods are only considered acquired by the buyer after full payment of the invoice (French Law n°80-335 of May 12, 1980).
10. PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)
The information collected is necessary for the management of orders and commercial relations. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the client has a right of access, rectification, portability, and deletion of their personal data, which they can exercise by contacting us directly.
11. CONSUMER MEDIATION
In accordance with Articles L. 616-1 and R. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, any consumer has the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of the dispute opposing them to a professional. To this end, the client may contact our mediator: cm2c, accessible via its website: https://www.cm2c.net.
12. COMPETENT JURISDICTION
All our transactions are governed by French law.
For professional clients (B2B): In the event of a dispute, only the Commercial Court in the jurisdiction of the registered office of Les Ateliers du Peintre shall have jurisdiction.
For consumer clients (B2C): The client may bring the matter before the court for the place where they resided at the time the contract was concluded or the harmful event occurred, in accordance with the French Consumer Code.
