GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
EFFECTIVE FROM 01 FEBRUARY 2026 – METROPOLITAN FRANCE, CORSICA AND EUROPE
Any order placed with Ateliers du Peintre (Cimaise-Tableau.fr) implies unreserved l of these g terms and conditions of sale, which may not be waived under any circumstances, except by express written agreement.
1. THE ORDERS
Orders are accepted:
- By mail on plain paper or pre-established order form from Les Ateliers du Peintre.
- By l via quote.
- Online at our website https://www.cimaise-tableau.fr/en/ .
2. ORDER PAYMENT
Orders are payable in cash.
- By bank check, postal check, money order or bank card for written orders.
- By credit card or secure electronic payment method for orders placed via the internet.
3. PRICE
All our prices are listed inclusive of all taxes (VAT included) at the time of publication. These prices remain valid until l publication of the next catalog or website update. Any invoice not paid by the due date will result in l cancellation of any discounts that may have been granted.
4. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING COSTS
FREE SHIPPING FROM € 99 INCLUDING VAT (Metropolitan France).
For orders under € 99 including VAT in Metropolitan France:
- DPD TRANSPORT (Products > 50 cm ): € 12.00 incl. VAT
- DPD TRANSPORT (Accessories € 6.98 incl. VAT)
Note: For Belgium and the rest of l , applicable delivery charges are calculated dynamically in the shopping cart during checkout. For all orders under € 35 (including VAT), a € 6 (including VAT) packaging fee will be charged.
5. SHIPPING AND RECEIVING
Goods travel at the SELLER's risk until delivery. However, it is l buyer's responsibility to immediately note any damage upon receipt. Mandatory procedure: The carrier must note any defects observed (crushed, open, punctured package, etc.) on the delivery slip. The phrase "subject to unpacking" has no legal value. Damage must be confirmed to the carrier within 48 hours.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
In accordance with European regulations, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, applicable in France, Belgium and the rest of l European Union.
A. Return conditions
Products must be returned undamaged, complete, and in their original packaging . Damaged, soiled, incomplete, or used items will not be accepted.
B. Return Costs and Terms
Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer . The customer has two return m to choose from:
- Return by your own means: The customer returns the package via the carrier of their choice to l address: LES ATELIERS DU PEINTRE, 30 RUE DE LA SERRE, 34320 ROUJAN.
- Collection by our carrier: We can arrange l from your home. This service costs € 35 excluding VAT per package ( € 42 including VAT) . This amount will be deducted directly from your refund.
C. Reimbursement
The refund will be processed after the merchandise has been received and inspected. Please note: If the entire order is returned, the initial standard delivery charges will be refunded. If the order is only partially returned, the initial shipping charges remain the customer's responsibility.
D. Exceptions (Non-returnable products)
- Items made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized (custom cut rails, kits and specific lengths of 1.50m, 1.00m and cm ) are neither returnable nor exchangeable.
- Special case ORAC DECOR : As Orac Decor brand products are shipped directly from l factory with specific packaging, return costs arranged by us will be charged at the actual cost ( € 35 excluding VAT for logistics management and return costs per package).
7. RETENTION OF TITLE CLAUSE
Goods are considered acquired by l buyer only after full payment of the invoice (Law No. 80-335 of May 12, 1980).
8. JURISDICTION
All our transactions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, only the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the registered office of Les Ateliers du Peintre will be authorized to hear the case.
