Adhesive fasteners for Dibond

Plexiglas or your mirrors without damaging the support? Adhesive mounting for Dibond is the preferred technical solution for artists, printers and interior decorators.

This self-adhesive mounting system sticks directly to the back of your rigid panel. Once on the wall, l fastener becomes completely invisible, creating an l floating effect that highlights l artwork by l g it from the wall surface.

[H2] Why choose adhesive fixing for your signs?

Using adhesive fasteners offers many advantages over traditional systems (drilling, frames, clips):

Tool-free installation: No need to drill into the Dibond panel or mirror. The high-performance adhesive (often 3M or Xtramount type) ensures a strong chemical bond.
Versatility of supports: These mounting plates are compatible with Dibond (Alu-Composite), Plexiglas (Acrylic), Forex (Expanded PVC), glass and mirrors.
Minimalist aesthetic: The attachment is hidden on the back. No nails or screws are visible on the front of l image.
Safety and robustness: Made of galvanized steel, these fasteners are resistant to l and corrosion.

[H2] Which fastener should I choose depending on the weight of my painting?

The choice of adhesive fixing depends entirely on the weight and dimensions of your panel. It is crucial to respect the maximum load capacity (MLC) to guarantee secure l .

45x45 mm fastener: Ideal for small, l formats (up to 1 kg ).
70x70 mm fastener: The standard for medium formats (up to 3-4 kg ).
100x100 mm fastener: For large Dibond panels or heavy mirrors (up to 6 kg , or even 12 kg using two fasteners).
Complete kit: We often offer kits including l fastener, protective stops (pads) for the bottom of the picture, and the wall hook.

[H2] Installation guide: How to install a Dibond fastener?

To ensure maximum and lasting adhesion, follow these key steps:

Surface preparation: This is l most important step. The area behind the Dibond or mirror must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Use an alcohol- l degreaser or the provided 3M wipe.
Positioning: Mark l location of l fastener (centered in the upper third of the panel).
Application: Remove the protective film from l adhesive and press l fastener firmly against the panel for 10 to 20 seconds. Remove any air bubbles.
Drying time (Polymerization): Do not hang the picture immediately! Let l adhesive rest for 24 hours flat at room temperature to reach its maximum strength.
Hanging: Attach your hook to the wall and hang your artwork. Don't forget the spacer pads at the bottom of the picture to ensure it hangs vertically and to protect your wall.
