The shelf life of Orac Decor glue depends on the type of glue used, storage conditions, and the manufacturing date indicated on the packaging. Orac Decor offers two main types of glue suitable for its products:

1. Orac DecoFix Pro (FDP500)

• Use : Water-based glue for fixing moldings to porous surfaces such as plaster or wood walls or ceilings.
• Shelf life : Up to 12 months under proper storage conditions.
• Storage conditions :
  • Between 5°C and 25°C .
  • Protected from frost and humidity.
• Note : Check the expiry date on the packaging.

2. Orac DecoFix Power (FDP700)

• Use : Extra-strong hybrid polymer mounting adhesive, ideal for fixing moldings to non-porous surfaces or in damp areas.
• Shelf life : Up to 18 months under ideal storage conditions.
• Storage conditions :
  • Temperature between 5°C and 30°C .
  • Store in a cool, dry place.

3. Orac DecoFix Extra (FX210)

• Use : Glue for assembling joints between decorative elements.
• Shelf life : Up to 12 months under optimal conditions.
• Storage conditions :
  • Between 5°C and 25°C .
  • Do not expose to frost.

Tips to maximize shelf life:

• Close the packaging carefully after use.
• Store glue in its original container.
• Avoid extreme temperature variations and direct exposure to sunlight.

To ensure best performance, it is recommended to use the glue before the end of its shelf life. If the glue shows signs of hardening, separation or deterioration, it should not be used.
