GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
EFFECTIVE AS OF FEBRUARY 1, 2026 – METROPOLITAN FRANCE AND CORSICA
Any order placed with Les Ateliers du Peintre (Cimaise-Tableau.fr) implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, from which no derogation may be made, except by express written agreement.
1. ORDERS
Orders are accepted:

By mail on plain paper or via an order form pre-established by Les Ateliers du Peintre.

By telephone via a quote.

Via the internet on our website www.cimaise-tableau.fr.
2. PAYMENT
Orders must be paid for in full at the time of purchase:

By bank check, postal check, money order, or credit card for written orders.

By credit card for orders placed via the internet.
3. PRICES
All our prices are indicated TTC (Including All Taxes / VAT included) at the date of publication. These prices remain in effect until the publication of the next catalog or website update. Any invoice not paid by the due date will result in the cancellation of any discounts previously granted.
4. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING FEES (Metropolitan France excluding Corsica)
FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER €99 (INCL. VAT).
For orders under €99 (Incl. VAT):

DPD TRANSPORT (Products > 50 cm): €12.00 (Incl. VAT)

DPD TRANSPORT (Accessories < 50 cm): €6.98 (Incl. VAT)
Note: For any order under €35 (Incl. VAT), a packaging fee contribution of €6 (Incl. VAT) will be charged.
5. SHIPPING AND RECEIPT
Goods travel at the SELLER'S risk until delivery. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to note reservations immediately upon receipt if the package is damaged. Mandatory Procedure: You must mention any defects observed (crushed, opened, punctured package, etc.) on the carrier's delivery slip. The mention "sous réserve de déballage" (subject to unpacking) has no legal value. Damages must be confirmed to the carrier within 48 hours.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
In accordance with Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal.
A. Return Conditions Products must be returned intact, complete, and in their original packaging. Damaged, soiled, or incomplete items will not be accepted.
B. Return Fees and Methods Return shipping costs are exclusively at the customer's expense. The customer may choose between two return methods:

Return by your own means: The customer returns the package via the carrier of their choice to the following address: LES ATELIERS DU PEINTRE, 30 RUE DE LA SERRE, 34320 ROUJAN, FRANCE.

Collection by our carrier: We can organize the collection of the package from your home. This service is charged at €35 excl. VAT per package (i.e., €42 incl. VAT). This amount will be directly deducted from the final refund.
C. Refund The refund will be issued after receipt and inspection of the goods at our warehouse. Please note: The refund applies only to the price of the returned products. Initial shipping costs (outbound shipping fees) are NOT refunded.
D. Exceptions (Non-returnable items)

"Made-to-measure" items (cut rails, specific kits, and lengths of 1.50m, 1.00m, and 0.50cm) cannot be returned or exchanged.

Specific case for ORAC DECOR: As Orac Decor products are shipped directly from the factory, specific conditions apply: return costs will be charged at actual cost (€35 excl. VAT for outbound delivery + €35 excl. VAT for return shipping per package).
7. RETENTION OF TITLE
The goods remain the property of the seller until the invoice has been paid in full (Law No. 80-335 of May 12, 1980).
8. JURISDICTION
All our transactions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, only the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the registered office of Les Ateliers du Peintre shall have the authority to rule.
