Orac Decor Adhesives & Tools: The Guarantee of a Perfect Installation
The success of your installation depends 100% on the choice of glue. At Orac Decor, glue is not just an adhesive, it is a technical resin which merges the elements with the wall. To benefit from the factory warranty and avoid cracks at the joints, it is imperative to use the winning trio: DecoFix Pro, Power, and Extra. Also, find cutting tools (saws, miter boxes) suitable for hard materials.
FDP500 vs FDP700: Which adhesive for the wall ?
Don't get the wrong tube:
- ? ? DecoFix Pro (FDP500): This is the standard glue. To be used for traditional, dry, and porous interior walls (plaster, brick). It can be smoothed with water.
- ? ? DecoFix Power (FDP700): This is the "All-Terrain" ultra-strong glue. To be used specifically for: outdoor projects, damp areas (bathrooms), tiling, glass, or heavy items. It can be smoothed out with soapy water.
Why is the FX200 adhesive (Joints) MANDATORY ?
"La" translates to "the" in English. DecoFix Extra (FX200/FX210) It is not an option. It is a chemical adhesive that "welds" the moldings together.

On average:

What saw should be used to cut moldings ?
Orac products (Duropolymer/Purotouch) are dense. Do not use a traditional wood saw (teeth are too big). Use our saw instead. Specific saw (FB14) with fine teeth for a clean cut, combined with a miter box (FB13 or FB300) for perfect angles.
