The Classic Rail (or Basic Rail) is a wall-mounted picture rail often used in galleries and exhibitions. This open-J shaped rail, with its sliding rods and springs, allows for the easy hanging of paintings and other wall decorations. For a discreet alternative to the rod, you can use a cylindrical block with a transparent perlon cord inside the rail. Depending on the weight of the painting or wall decoration, various hanging hooks can then be slid onto the perlon cord.
